GIESSEREI TALES
Ursin Mirer invited the Zurich based writer Thomas Meyer to the Giesserei: he wished to start a newsletter concept. So they were engaged in a conversation while having dinner in the historic rooms.
“But newsletters are boring,” said Meyer. Mirer looked at him: how dare he say that? However… somehow he was right. “How about nice cards with stories about the Giesserei written on them? Because so much had happened here.” Mirer considered this. Yes, a lot had happened here. Then he took his glass and toasted with Meyer to the “Giesserei Geschichten”. Read the episodes from 2013 here. Thomas Meyer was born in Zurich in 1974 and spent his childhood in Mellingen AG and Wädenswil ZH. After dropping out of law school, he began working as a copywriter.
